Welcome to day 2 of our Tune of the Day!
Today I’m listening to Harlequin Tears by the band Hohokam. Have you heard of these guys? This was released on the “Numa” label, which was owned by Gary Numan. Rumor has it that these band members had trespassed onto Gary Numan’s property with their demo tape. This, apparently, inspired him to create the label, and subsequently became the third release on his “Numa” level.
Check them out. This particular song has a very Dead or Alive meets Depeche Mode sound. This was released in 1985. I’m also going to drop the Razormaid version.
